Revision history for Perl-Critic-Policy-ProhibitUnusedDefinitions

    - Read the distribution through Perl::Critic::Distribution, which parses
each file once for every policy that needs the whole distribution, and
keeps the cache that this policy kept. The cache moves to
~/.cache/perl-critic-distribution, so the first run after an upgrade
parses every file once. An old cache in
~/.cache/perl-critic-prohibitunuseddefinitions is no longer read, and
      can be deleted.

    - Keep each file's uses resolved in the cache, with a digest of the
definitions they were resolved against. While no definition changes,
only the changed files are resolved again.
    - Compress the cache with gzip, and on each write remove the cache of any
distribution whose root is gone, such as a deleted checkout.

    - Keep the index of each distribution on disk between runs, as JSON, and
parse again only the files whose stat changed. An editor that starts
a new process for every check, such as PerlNavigator, no longer parses
the whole distribution each time. New parameters: cache, cache_dir.
